• Will there be Wi-Fi available at the festival? Yes, there will be Wi-Fi available at the venue. However, we cannot guarantee the speed or range of the signal. Network and Password information will be provided at registration. We highly recommend you consider downloading all handouts to your device (or printing them if you want hard copies) prior to arriving at the venue. (Remember Murphy's Law)

• Do I need to bring a music stand? You can bring a music stand or get creative with hanging your music, if you have printed copies. Please look at the photo below to get an idea for an easy way to hang music using a piece of cardboard clipped to a swivel-hook hanger. The cardboard gives the page stability. If the hanger is wider than 8 ½", add an additional clip. Also, consider using sticky putty to connect the paper to the cardboard. (This idea was borrowed from Dani Joy & Reno Uke Fest.)

• Can I book my hotel room through the website? No, this year (2026) we are not creating a group block at any of the nearby hotels. Check under LOCATIONS tab for a list of suggested hotels nearby (about a 15-minute drive away).

• Is the festival non-smoking? In general, yes! Our event is being held outdoors and indoors. As a courtesy to others, we ask attendees to refrain from smoking within the boundaries of the event.

• Will there be alcohol at the festival? No, this is an alcohol-free event.

• Are vaccinations or antibody tests required? Not at this time. The choice is yours to be vaccinated or not. We will follow the current guidelines and policies of the CDC, and the state of Tennessee at the time of the festival.

• Are masks required? No, not at this time. The choice to wear a mask also remains yours. We ask that all patrons respect others' choices on this matter.

• Where can we find food during the festival? There are many restaurants nearby, within about a 10-15 minute drive from the venue. We will also have a small concession stand at MCUF with water, soft drinks, and small packaged snacks. Attendees are welcome to bring their own food and enjoy it on the festival grounds. No alcohol is allowed on the grounds.
